More queer stories need to be told —— especially queer womxn’s stories! -— in order to help normalize queerness, and that’s why I’m excited to work on Great Big Rainbow World.
Laura is a freelance theatre director and producer who also writes and performs. She founded Umbrella Collective (formerly Savage Umbrella) and was the artistic director from 2007-2018. She has worked with the Guthrie Theatre, Theatre de la Jeune Lune, the Moving Company, Park Square Theatre, Frank Theatre, the Playwrights’ Center, 20% Theatre Company, and more.
She holds an MA in Theatre History from the University of Kansas and a BA in English and Theatre from Baker University. Accolades include Best Director 2018 in Citypages.
