Musician

As a musician who often finds myself in male-dominated spaces, I'm absolutely thrilled to be a part of this amazing team of women and nonbinary folks and to support them in telling such an enjoyable, important story!

Jenny is a multi-instrumentalist, music director, teacher and composer who has performed in and recorded with a wide variety of bands and theater productions since the mid-90’s.

She currently plays bass with the legendary Minneapolis rockers Flamin’ Oh’s, and guitar with ABBA tribute band ABBA Salutely Fab and all-female punk band Genital Panic. She teaches private music lessons out of her home studio in St. Louis Park, MN and Lake Harriet House of Music in Minneapolis, and is a staff songwriter for the Songs of Love Foundation where she’s written and produced over 200 songs for kids with serious medical conditions.

Jenny is the founder of MN’s first rock camp for girls, Girls Rock n Roll Retreat, and Co-Founder and Artistic Director of it’s parent organization, She Rock She Rock, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering girls, women, gender non-binary and trans folks through the art of music. She is the proud recipient of Century College’s 10th Annual Women of Distinction award for her nonprofit and activism work.
