Queer stories need to be told! I'm excited to support the GBRW team in sharing this work with the Twin Cities community.
Aubrey is a violinist, multi-instrumentalist and music educator. She has been performing and teaching in the Twin Cities since 2008.
Aubrey's musical experience is vast and uniquely varied. Along with various folk and fiddle projects - such as folk trio Lady Spruce - they can be found serenading their neighborhood with Rachmaninoff through their living room window, jamming banjo tunes by the lake, and performing with their students. Aubrey has also performed with the Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra and many classical chamber groups. She continues to expand her musical horizons with trainings, workshops, and mentorships, including study of classical, fiddle, jazz, improvisation and even classical sitar. They hold a BA in music education and violin performance.
